Oh, just about everything you need to host a stunning event! Here’s what you can expect when you book Hazelnut Farm:

All-day access from 8 AM—start your morning in our gorgeous dressing suites, let your vendors set up, and take your time soaking in every moment.

Tables & chairs, already set up—we’ve got seating for up to 350 guests, including gold Chiavari chairs with ivory tie-on pads (because details matter).

A variety of event spaces—choose from our ceremony lawn, cocktail patio, and grand ballroom for a seamless event flow.

Four custom rolling bar fronts—because who doesn’t love a bar that moves with the party? These beauties can be placed inside or out.

Paved on-site parking—plenty of room for 200-250 guests. Expecting more? Valet services can use our back parking lot.

Staff on-site all day—we’ll be there to keep things running smoothly and make sure every detail is perfect.

Fun extras—table numbers, a card box, easels, a rustic wooden table for your cake or sweetheart setup, and more, just check with us before your event to make sure we can have them available to you.
How many guests can Hazelnut Farm accommodate?
We’re built for a big, beautiful celebration—up to 350 guests with our included tables and chairs. Need space for a few extra? Let’s chat.
Is there parking on-site?
Yep! We have paved parking for 200-250 guests. Hosting more than that? No problem—valet services can use our back lot to keep things flowing.
Where is Hazelnut Farm located?
We’re tucked away on 40 private acres in Wilsonville, KY, just 5 minutes off the Gene Snyder Expressway and right near Middletown and Valhalla Golf Club. Close enough for convenience, far enough for that magical “hidden gem” feel.
Is Hazelnut Farm handicap accessible?
Absolutely. Our entire venue—including parking, pathways, and indoor spaces—is fully ADA-compliant.

Logistics & Set Up
When do I have access to the venue?
Your rental starts at 8 AM so you can get ready in our dressing suites, set up, and take your time. Music can go until midnight, and your vendors have time afterward to pack up.
Is my rehearsal included?
Yes! We provide a one-hour rehearsal, scheduled for the closest available date to your wedding.
Who handles setup and cleanup?

Tables & chairs? Already set up before you arrive.

Decor? That’s up to you and your vendors!

Venue maintenance? Our team is on-site all day to keep things running smoothly.
Will there be a Hazelnut Farm staff member on-site during my event?
You bet. Our team will be here all day to oversee the venue, greet guests, and make sure everything is flawless.
Ceremony & Reception



Can I have my ceremony at Hazelnut Farm?
Of course! We have multiple spaces for your ceremony, including our lakeside lawn, covered porch, and grand ballroom.
What happens if it rains?
We’ve got you covered—literally. If needed, we can transition your event to our elegant covered porch or indoor ballroom.
Can I bring in a DJ or live band?
Yes! Whether you want a string quartet, big band, or dance-floor-packing DJ, our venue is built for great acoustics and a seamless entertainment setup.
Do you allow fireworks or unique send-offs?
Fireworks? Yes, with a permit.
Sparklers? Absolutely!
Hot air balloons, horse-drawn carriages, or a Ferris wheel? Let’s talk—we love a good wow moment!

Food & Beverage
Can I bring in my own caterer?
We require that you choose from our approved caterers list, which includes some of the best in the area. If you have a special request (like a family-owned caterer specializing in a cultural cuisine), we’ll consider special approval.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No self-stocked bars, but your caterer must provide and serve all alcohol under an ABC-issued liquor license.
What’s the alcohol policy?

Last call is 11:30 PM (or 30 minutes before event end time).

No self-serve alcohol stations.

Wedding party cannot bring their own drinks to dressing suites once the event starts.
Can we have food trucks or late-night snacks?
Yes! Food trucks and unique bar setups are welcome with approval. For late-night snacks, fast food and treats (like an ice cream cart) are allowed without a facility fee.

Vendors & Policies

Do I need event insurance?
Yes, we require event liability insurance to protect you, your guests, and our venue.
Am I required to use your preferred vendors?
For catering, bar services, and planning, yes—our vendor list is carefully curated to ensure seamless service. You're free to bring in outside vendors for everything else (florals, entertainment, rentals, etc.).
Can I leave my decorations overnight?
No, we have a day-in/day-out policy, so all personal décor and rentals must be removed at the end of the event.
What’s the policy on glassware and china?
Hazelnut Farm prefers that you use non-disposable flatware, glassware, and china. The exceptions are cocktail hour appetizers and late-night snacks. If you choose to use disposables, there is a $300 environmental impact fee.
